An Interview with Inci Bowman

The interview describes how Inci Bowman got involved in the ICC during the organization's early stages of development. The ICC operated as an unincorporated organization for 14 years, before becoming a non-profit organization registered in Washington, DC in 2012. The narrative also covers the various activities of the group such as events to commemorate the 1944 deportation of Crimean Tatars, film screenings, participation in rallies and wreath-laying ceremonies to honor the victims of communism. The first part of the interview relates to Inci Bowman's ethnic and educational background as well as professional experiences that led to her work as a Crimean Tatars advocate.
